I’ve decided to make the topic of my project about French cuisine. I like food and how other people enjoy things so I thought food would be best. I looked through a few different websites to see what different foods the French have. On one of the websites I went to I found out that some of the foods they mostly eat there are crepes, baguettes, fromage, bouillabaisse and croissants. Crepes are basically a different type of pancake that you would top with just about anything. Like any fruit or maybe even ham and cheese. Baguettes are long loaves of bread. Bouillabaisse is a hearty fish stew. The fish is usually served separately, it comes with a rouille sauce (has the texture of a tartar sauce and is a sauce for fish) and toasted bread. For this last food I’m sure everyone knows what it is, but a croissant is a buttery, flaky viennoiserie pastry. Its name came from the shape crescent. Croissants are made of layered yeast-leavened dough. Fromage is French for cheese. French cheeses are amazing. These foods are very delicious and if you haven’t tried them, you should. I found all of this information from these three sites, Wikipedia: Croissants , this is where I found my information about croissants. Epic Adventurer: Top ten French foods , on this website I found out about what crepes, baguettes, fromage, and bouillabaisse. Buzzle: Different French Foods is where I found bouillabaisse and other interesting foods.

Great lists of wonderful French food!! I have tried all of the Top 10 foods except Gaufre. I guess I'll just have to go back to get some of them, won't I? On the top 10 list is one of my favorites: pain au chocolate. They're so light and flaky and delicious. Thanks for the info!!
