Audrey Tautou was born August 9th, 1976 in Beaumont and was raised in Montlucon. Her parents both worked two good jobs as a teacher and dental surgeon. She is s the eldest of four children. She has a brother and two sisters. She had shown a interest in acting at a very young age which prompted her parents into starting acting lessons at Cours Florent. Audrey has studied at the Institute Catholique de Paris and was very into church when she was of upcoming, but now that has slipped her and she isn't officially Catholic. She has said " I believe in God, but I am not sure I trust him so much."
As you are probably assuming that she is a very talented woman so far. She had not only went to a collage but she also was doing modeling at her younger ages to for magazine's such as Vogue, Elle, Harpers Bazaar, Marie Claire and many more. She was also a model/ commercial for Chanel 5. link www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7e_UErTP1g
Madam Tautou was signed by a agent when she was 17 and made it in acting by the tine she was 18 on her first television and feature film "Venus Beauty Institute." She won Ceaser Award for most promising actress. One of her other very famous movies was Amelie , she got European Film Awards and it won four Cesar Awards (including Best Film and Best Director) and was nominated for five Academy Awards. linkhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbdm8GrohzQ
Although Audrey is working in the United States, she would like to make plans to have a career there rather than crossing over to the United States. For her film "Amelie", she traveled to jungles with a preservation of monkey sanctuary.
The latest thing they have heard from Audrey is that she is planning to quit acting in 2011 and focus on other activities. Audrey's real name is 'Audrey Hapbum'.
She has made it very clear that she can do almost anything! As for in some of quotes she states her personal thoughts of how she feels about everything she does and what she really wants to have people think or what point to get across. "I think it's very difficult for French people to work in Hollywood because it's such a huge industry, and to be able to create some space for yourself is a hard job. Plus, the language doesn't help. You can work almost only as a foreign character. Then there's the French film industry, which is not amazingly well, but is able to finance big productions. We have wonderful directors - they might not be as famous as Steven Spielberg, but they bring me so much pleasure.I don't know where I'm going to be in three years. Because I have the feeling that the future is so full of possibilities, to stop being an actress, to do something else... for me, the future is just a huge bunch of discoveries. After each experience, you grow up, you get enriched with something, and you don't know how you're going to be in six months, you don't know what you're going to want, what you're going to need" are some of her thoughts and how she somewhat views things.
Audrey has many awards and many movies out. Her last movie was Haunting and Gathering. Actually was filmed in Paris, France.
