I am very interested in fashion, and it just so happened that France happens to be one of the worlds biggest fashions capitols. When looking up different fashion facts online i came across many different sites saying " French recognize fashion for not the clothing itself but the people wearing it". When the sites got more into detail i came across a few French models that were modeling some of Frances best designers clothing.

I really enjoy watching fashion shows and watching how different designers put together their clothing. This 27 year old French model looks stunning as she models some of Frances greatest designer work. If you enjoy watching fashion shows and seeing some of the greatest models go to YouTube and look up "First Face". If you are more interested in just seeing french models you can click on the two information links below to to take you to two more models from France

If you looked into my last link on French modeling, you would have noticed model Marie Piovesan modeling some famous french designers clothes such as Christian Dior, Coco Chanel, and Louis Vuitton. All of these designers started designing late 1800s or early 1900s. Unfortunately all of the designers have passed but have left behind an era of great clothing and designing skills. More recent designers such Sonia Rykiel, however are still designing clothes today. Sonia has been crowned the "Queen of Knits" for her deconstructed garb that upended left bank chic. Sonia began sewing maternity-wear in the early sixties for her pregnant self. Besides working in her fathers dressing shop for teens, Sonia had not had no formal training. Soon after Sonia began to design Knitwear with resources from her husbands retail business. To see some of Sonia Rykiels work, click on the link above.
History
The French were the first to make an industry out of fashion. The French have been exploring their style since the 1700s which is frankly before most of the world had even realized what fashion was. After the french revolution the women of Paris were the first to abandon the ornate, constricting and over bearing fashions of the 1700s and began to wear long flowing muslin dresses based upon the Greek and Roman. By the 19th century there was a moment of industrial revolution and more availability to different fabrics and greater diversity in style. By the 1960s, Paris was considered to be the center of fashion throughout the world. Current day French fashion has taken over the whole fashion industry and continues to amaze many designers world wide.
