Well, Ever since I had been a little kid around the age of two, I had always fund myself amazed by soccer. The way they move, how quick they are, and how they can do all those tricks with the ball in the air only using their feet. So doing this project since of course, It is French class I had to choose two very well known French Soccer teams, Paris Saint-Germain F.C and Les Bleus(The Blues), or as they are also known PSG and FFF. Both located in of course, France.
PSG
PSG was founded by not one but two groups the Stade Saint-Germain and Paris FC who merged together in 1970 to form Paris Saint-Germain.The roster of the players for PSG contain many amazing to outstanding players. The FFF of the French Football Federation, Also the National football team of France created in 1904. France still in Ligue 1 today is a very good team still they haven't been any lower of a ranking in international football than rank 27. They have placed 1st in the international cup several times. Good project. I have literally no knowledge of soccer, so this was a good little course for me in soccer. I knew of PSG because of my time in France, but my understanding is that they aren't really popular among the French. People like the teams from other areas of France more like Marseilles. I went into the PSG store in Paris to buy items for my husband and brothers in law, though, because I love their colors and their logo. The France Football site listed the top players the magazine named and Thierry Henri's name was on there several times. One of my French 1 students did his project on Henri. |
