I’m interested in watching sports so I looked up how France has done in the Olympics and their Olympic history.

This link is to an Olympic site. In the top left hand side you can input the year and location of the Olympics, the sport, and the specific event. I used this site to find how France has done in basketball in recent years. This past Olympics, France’s women team performed better in basketball than the mens team.
France's Gold Medal Handball Highlights
This link is for France’s handball finals highlights in the Olympics. I have never actually seen handball at all. That’s why I find the highlights of France’s gold medal that much more exciting. The sport seems interesting and getting gold in any event is impressive. This is a close victory for France that was very cool to watch the highlights of.

This fact is France has not missed a summer Olympics since the Olympics has begun. Only four other countries have done this task as well.
