I’ve always been one to love the world of art, especially art from countries other than the U.S.A. As a child, I always wondered who created these marvelous pieces of artwork, and tried to make a piece of my own. I have done some research, and now I know who is behind all of this beautiful work.
French Painters
As you enter the site, the heading will read Famous French Painters. And if you scroll down, the title of the first article is Famous French Painters of the 20th Century. Then you will be able to read about artists from this century such as Henri Matisse who painted The Dance, or read about Pierre Bonnard who painted Sunlight at Vernon. Also if you are interested in art from the 19th century like I am, there is also a category for that. Just scroll down a little further then the title will read French Painter of the 19th Century. There, they talk about painters such as Édouard Manet who painted The Balcony or Frédéric Bazille who painted Family Reunion.
French Museums
This site contains the museums that these famous artists’ art is in. Here you will find a variety of museums in France where you can find your favorite art in. Museums such as the Musee d’Orsay, which contains art strictly from the 19th century. This museum is located in Paris, France. Then there are ones that contain not only paintings, but drawings and lithographs too. This one is called Musee Toulouse-Lautrec. Within are the luxurious paintings of almost any french artist. This is located in Albi, Languedoc.

Last but not least, are the paintings themselves.
