Eric Cantona 4th hour

Ive chosen to do my project soccer related because i love the game and because when i think of france the first thing i think of is they're history and role in the history of the game. I chose to do my french culture project on a man who has been called one of the greatest players of the past decade and maybe even of all time. in my opinion probably the greatest french footballer (or soccer player) to have ever lived and one of my favorite players. his name is Eric Cantona. 

though he was considered a better player for his club than country having retired 3 years before france won they're 1st and only world cup (so far) he is still one of the greatest players to represent his country even if on club level. in fact he still considered among the greatest among the many great players to play on popular prestigious club Manchester United of england (where the fans dubbed him "King Eric".), where he spent most of his career in. in fact he is the man who made the number '7' at the club famous. previously worn by british legend George best andlater to be worn by David Beckham and current world star Cristiano Ronaldo, each during they're stints at the club and each considred some of the best the world has ever seen.

the now 47 year old forward born in Marsellie has been retired for a good 16 years and played professionally for 14 years having played for 8 different clubs
